Crossing The Cut – Carol Hathorne

£7.20

Crossing the Cut is a fine collection of short stories from nationally acclaimed author Carol Hathorne.

In the first half of the book the stories are either set in the author’s native black country or in Africa where she worked for the church for several years.

Carol Hathorne’s love of the Black Country has spawned the autobiographical Five Minutes Love and Those Were The Days as well the novels Only Sixteen and Twenty One Today.

The second half of the book is a collection of 12 stories in the Our Mon’s Detective Agency series which chronicle the adventure’s of news agent turned detective Monty Smith, with the assistance of his brother Bing and Starsky the dog. As with all Carol Hathorne’s work, these stories are endearing and hilarious.
